The workshop was organized by microplayground, a media art group from Taiwan, who invited me (馬可) together with a group of other artists, such as Keith Lam from HK, Aymeric Mansoux and Lee Chun from goto10, UK, and Pei and kiilo from CH.

I was teaching a Physical Computing workshop together with Tobias Hoffmann aka kiilo, hacking some toys, making some NAND noise and fiddling around with the arduino.

Playaround workshop is hold by NCTU and ITRI in the summer of year 2008. We invite a professor and many digital media artists from England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Taiwan to stimulate participants’ creativities. This workshop consists of puredata, arduino, floss art and physical computing and play around the creativity with Taiwan young students. Through the popular interactive media, the students can create prototypes of combination of technology and art.

玩趣創意工作坊（playaround workshop）由工研院創意中心與交通大學共同主辦，2008 年夏天 邀請來自英、法、德國、瑞士、香港、台灣位數位藝術新媒體藝術家與教授等進行集體創造力激發課程，puredata、arduino、floss art 教學課程以及 physical computing 等創意課程，與台灣年輕學子共同大玩創造力，透過熱門的互動媒體聲響，創造出各種科技與藝術的原型。
